English term or phrase: the Camera drowns as a wipe to darkness
Jack jumps over to restrain Mary from jumping back in. She frantically fights his hold while screaming
CUT TO:
Jack quickly looks over to his left towards the helm and
sees...
22 P.O.V. THE EMPTY HELM OF THE LIFE BOAT
CUT TO:
... it is empty, as Brock is busy pulling a young lady out of the water and there are (4) more immediately by her. We then push in on Jack and see his face as he deliberates.
CUT TO:
Jack jumps into the water (past the camera) and the Camera then ***drowns as a wipe to darkness***. It gets eerily quiet and we barely hear BROCK shouting for Jack.

agree  Daniela Vitancourt: Daniel: no había visto tu respuesta.

the camera drowns as a wipe to darkness

¡Suerte!

Reference information:
Wipe = scene shift that appears to be one scene pushing another off the screen

Wipe = cortinilla, transición cinematográfica
