En los extras de un DVD, un operador de cámara norteamericano está describiendo cómo se lleva a cabo una escena de animación en la que se filma un muñeco desde varios ángulos. Explica que filman un fotograma, mueven el muñeco, filman el siguiente fotograma y así hasta 24 veces para cada segundo de película. Luego dice:

Sometimes the camera was locked off. Sometimes the camera would be flying down, frame at a time...
flying over it as though it was a point of view, but all done in essentially the same way.
