English term or phrase: fill to Aspect Ratio
Enhancing the Video Function
Wide-screen monitors like XXX have a tendency to stretch the picture when the monitor is set at Fill to Screen mode. It is possible to use the Custom Scaling feature described below to change the monitor display mode to a One to One or a Fill to Aspect Ratio mode which removes the stretching effect.
The monitor includes a custom scaling feature that allows you to enhance the video performance by adjusting the viewable image to an optimal display. There are three different options to be chosen: a One to One display, a Fill to Screen display, or a Fill to Aspect Ratio display.

ajustar al aspecto / a la relación de aspecto
Explanation:
Similar to your other question (about "fill to screen"), this is another mode that you can set for the display. Using the same example, in this case it will still scale the video image, but this time it will not distort it; it will maintain the aspect ratio, and simply fit it to one of the dimensions of the screen, instead of both.

For example, in the other question I mentioned the case of a 1024 x 768 screen, fed with an 800x600 image. In that case, the scaler circuit would stretch the pixels 1.505 times horizontally (1024/800) , but only 1.28 times vertically (768/600). In that case, it distorted the image, so that circles would like slightly egg-shaped.

However, in THIS case, the scaler will NOT distort the image: It just expands it as much as it can to fill one of the two dimensions, and keeps the aspect ratio intact. In the example that I gave you, it would stretch BOTH dimensions by 1.28, so that the image would fill the screen vertically, but there would have to be black strips up each side of the screen for the pixels that it cannot fill. The advantage of this mode is that the image is not distorted, and circles will remain looking like circles.

Por cierto, "fill to" yo diría que se trata del "ajuste de" pero no estoy muy segura

fill to aspect ratio
pantalla ampliada en modo proporcional

Explanation:
