English term or phrase: Grandmother board
"[SUB-Assembly#1A] a wire wrap back-plane PC board which is frequently called the Mother board. The Mother board is mounted to the back of the card cage and provides interconnection between Weld Computer Boards [SUB-Assembly#1B] and [SUB-Assembly#1C] and the large Grandmother board [Assembly#1] which is mounted to the base of the Computer Assembly."

The 'Grandmother board' is the large board. If it's of any help, I'm using 'Placa' for 'Board', and 'Unidad', 'Sub-Unidad' for 'Assembly', 'Sub-Assembly' respectively. I need a translation for Spain and for Latin America. Thanks.

placa madre base/principal
Explanation:
