Propongo esta alternativa pensando en que hablar de 'listón' puede no resultar claro para distintos públicos.

Me permito agregar que tal vez no sea preciso traducir el agregado "for others to meet" en cualquiera de las variantes que se han propuesto para esta consulta: al hablar de desafíos o de nuevas marcas queda sobreentendido que otros buscarán alcanzarlas y/o superarlas.

I'd probably change it around a bit, since the expression in Spanish is normally "ha puesto el listón muy alto" - might even leave "for other to meet" out altogether since it is implicit in this expression.
