English term or phrase: OS -> SO
Dear All,
I just have a question about the Spanish translation of the term OS.
This will be placed in a User's Guide under Specifications and will be a table heading.
The English is simply OS.
The Spanish has been translated as SO.
Is this the normal phrase for a technical manual?
Many thanks for your help!

SO
Explanation:
The abbreveation "OS" in English stands for Operating System; in Spanish it is "Sistema Operativo"; OS is fine, and commonly used, like at www.microsoft.com

Brilliant!
If it's good enough for MS it's good enough for me!
Thanks very much for the quick confirmation Rick!
