Tech/Engineering - Computers: Software / manufacturing of molds | | English term or phrase: shorting password | Shorting password is the correct word. Shorting is the process of picking/putting fewer items than requested. Typically happens when there aren’t enough items at the slot to pickup.
TJ’s in this case wants to restrict shorting by asking for a password. The password is set in the application and is typically a 4 digit number.
So when the operator tries to short, application will ask him for a password and only allow him to short if the password is correct
