These things are not translated. Treat it as if it were a proper noun. How does "USB 2.0" translate into Spanish? - French? - Italian? ...
And if you really want to add an 'explanation' in () after the English acronym and full name, first decide what 'Ethernet' is if is ain't 'digital'.

OK, found it. Germán's text is presumably about mid to late 1900's industrial archeology when it was thought necessary to qualify black boxes as 'analogue' or, as in this case, 'digital' - even when such distinction was technologically tautological.
