English to Spanish translations [PRO] Computers: Systems, Networks / IT | | English term or phrase: Cold state | The following is the context. This is a web site with a provider database from an insurance carrier. I am not sure how to translated "cold state". I have also asked about "hot state" and got one answer: "estado activo". It makes sense (I could use "estado inactivo" for "cold state"), but I still would like to have more options to make sure this is the correct term.

| | en frío (con las cachés vacías, sin datos precargados en memoria) | Explanation: "Cold state": Caches empty, no table data or indexes preloaded into memory, etc. Basically, database in a state as if you'd just started it (and the machine) up.
Saludos.
