Tech/Engineering - Computers: Systems, Networks / Ingieneria de sistemas (DCS) | | English term or phrase: the instanced DB | "When we saw the PLC online at the FB06 with the instanced DB, we noticed that the command was actually being ready by the PLC."
HOW would you TRANSLATE that? "the instanced DB"?
The only thing that I founf out was that DB could b Data Base and with instanced it could refere to a short period or momentanous DB.

The instance of a database is not a point in time. It is more like versions of the database to be used in different scenarios. When using a database, only one instance is active at the moment.
I would not leave out the word instance in the Spanish translation as an Active Database refers to a totally different concept.

Es una jerga común entre los programadores, es un neologismo obviamente, pero que se utiliza mucho hoy en día. Se refiere a la BD en el proceso cuando es creada en memoria, es "instanciada" por lo tanto.Espero que te sirva, saludos!

En mi humilde opinión, creo que por más que suene "mal" este neologismo, es correcta su aplicación dado el contexto y a que forma parte de la jerga de un grupo de profesionales. Si usamos sólo lo que a nosotros nos parece lingüísticamente correcto, le restaremos naturalidad a la lectura de este o cualquier otro texto del estilo.

Vuelvo a afirmar la creencia en mi definición, dado en particular porque se utiliza en un lenguaje coloquial, es decir, el extracto es de un comentario que le hace un a persona a otra, por lo tanto no tiene fines académicos; entonces, por eso opté por respetar el contexto que me parece importantísimo.
