Estoy traduciendo políticas de seguridad de la información de una empresa (uso de email e Internet) y aparece esta oración: "This Policy applies to many countries with varied legislations. As such, where a variation is relevant, in-country management must identify these and notify the Policy Owner."
Sólo encuentro "Titular de la Póliza" en relación con seguros. ¿Estaría mal traducirlo como "Titular o Propietario de la Política"?
Explanation: "Own" Owner" "Ownership" se utilizan a menudo en este tipo de contexto para referirnos a lo que antes hubiéramos llamado simplemente "El Responsable".
En cada país donde se han de implementar las distintas políticas de la empresa (en este caso las pólíticas en cuestión de seguridad) puede haber alguna variación nacional.
En este caso, la administración de dicho país debe informar al Responsable global.
También existen variantes, como "strategy owner" - es decir, la persona responsable de la estrategia.
