Hablando de errores que ocurren al realizar un escaneo, este documento da un listado de soluciones para ello, ahora no se me ocurre un término para la palabra re-home ¿algo que ver con la Posición inicial???

Solution 1- Verify that the shipping lock is totally disengaged. Solution 2- Re-home the scanner: The scan head in the scanner might have lost the home position. agree  María Teresa Taylor Oliver: Sí, eso mismo es lo que pensé yo (trabajo en Canon y veo este tipo de texto todo el tiempo). Acá le llamamos "posición de descanso" a "home position" pero es lo mismo =)

reposicionar/ resetear


Explanation:
Si, seria eso que preguntas. Volver el scanner a la posicion inicial o resetearlo. No se como sigue la explicacion pero es como resetearlo. Suerte!
