Form factor and physical dimensions are NOT the same thing.
For example, when we are classifying computers according to their "form factor", we refer to "desktop", "tower", "small desktop", etc.
If you look at a table with the technical specs of a computer, you will see that in the column or row labeled "Form Factor", they list desktop, tower, etc., and they is a separate column or row for physican dimensions. |
