In addition, several of the international business units have not moved to Windows 2000 yet, but are still using Windows 98. This not only has made the task of new deployment difficult, but also any time a system is re-imaged or cascaded, it’s difficult to know what image to apply. The problem is only going to get worse when Microsoft releases Windows XP this fall, creating yet another option.

De hecho la frase sería: "...cada vez que un sistema es sometido a un cambio de imagen o es puesto en cascada, ...". Se refiere a las liberaciones sucesivas y previamente anunciadas de OS de Microsoft, como Windows 3.1-> 95->98->ME->XP, etc

It has ot be that, but that would be redundant, so I would leave it out. This paper is loaded with way too many redundancies. This is what I did:

Esta situación no sólo dificulta la distribución, sino que cada vez que se distribuyen imágenes nuevas es difícil saber cuál sistema necesita cuál imagen. Está situación ha empeorado aún más desde que Microsoft sacó al mercado Windows XP a finales del año pasado, creando otra variable.

"Gracias a Netscape, podemos disfrutar de nuevas características de alta tecnología como las frames. Esperar eso de la W3C hubiera tardado mucho.
Si Netscape hubiera esperado la ratificación del W3C, la tecnología de los frames podría haber sido incluso mejor (o al menos no tan destructiva), porque hubiera trabajado más gente en hacer unas especificaciones completas y con seguridad de ser utilizadas.
Además, ¡¡¡ las Cascading Style Sheets (CCS1) y los Portable Network Graphics (PNG) están por aquí ya dando guerra !!!
