agree  Adriana Sibaja: De acuerdo con ésta opción. En México lo usamos así también. Y, cierto, es sin acento (ni el DRAE como en el María Moliner dan una alternativa ortográfica son acento).

Explanation:
Optaría por regirlo por el nombre determinante: caracter es masculino, tecla es femenino. Por ello, recomiendo: "caracter tabulador" y "tecla tabuladora", usándose como atributivo. Otra cosa es emplear una conexión con "de", que quedaría así pues: "caracter de tabulación" y "tecla de tabulación". En ambos casos "tabulación" se derivado del verbo, al referirse a la acción subyacente de tabular, no a "el tabulado" como concepto en sentido sustantivo.
