English to Spanish translations [PRO] Tech/Engineering - Computers (general) | | English term or phrase: nickel-salicided | Low-resistance nickel-salicided polysilicon and diffusion

| | | silicato de níquel "autoalineado" | Explanation: La nomenclatura química real de estos productos es silicato de niquel, aunque se
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Salicide
"The salicide process involves the reaction of a thin metal film with silicon in the active regions of the device, ultimately forming a metal silicide contact through a series of annealing and/or etch processes."
Es decir, el producto de la reunión es un silicato metálico, en este caso de niquel
"The term "salicide" is a compaction of the phrase self-aligned silicide. The description "self-aligned" suggests that the contact formation does not require lithographic patterning processes, as opposed to a non-aligned technology such as polycide."
De ahí mi propuesta de "silicato (de níquel) autoalineado", ya que ese es el origen del término "salicide", para indicar que se trata de un "producto de reacción" específico con una función determinada.
"The term salicide is also used to refer to the metal silicide formed by the contact formation process, such as "titanium salicide", although this usage is inconsistent with accepted naming conventions in chemistry."
Esto indica que el producto es un silicato metálico (por ejemplo, de titanio, níquel...).
¡Saludos!

En este caso, quizás sería apropiado indicar "polisilicona con (estructuras de) silicatos de níquel", ¡saludos! |
