This is done to reduce unnecessary print outs, a large amount of documents that are printed never get collected. The are many reasons for this...they printed a newer version, they got distracted and forgot, they realized they didn't need it, etc. Without follow-the-user printing, all those documents would have been printed and probably discarded.
Locked printing usually means you need to be an authorized user to print.
I've no idea if there is an appropriate term in Spanish (hence the 3) but this would be my best option |
