Se refiere a la entrada (input) de una tensión o voltaje especial que se denomina "flotante". Te podés fijar en el funcionamiento de un transformador "de aislamiento" para que te quede bien claro el concepto y para qué se utiliza. Espero que te sirva ¡saludos!
