Nothing wrong with "ordenador". It is just that most of us on this side of the Atlantic we call those things "computadoras". I generally use "computadora central tipo mainframe", because, even thought it might seem a bit redundant, if I were to use simply "computadora central" it could be a central computer equipped with an Intel processor, in which case it would not be, by definition a "mainframe".
