En realidad, encontré que "edge clearance" puede ser "holgura del vidrio" acá: http://www.euatm.upm.es/dat/website/assets/pdf/index_by_dime... (página 4, debajo de GLAZING), pero no encuentro una buena traducción para "face clearance".
CONTEXTO: Fabricate decorative glass in sizes required to openings indicated for the project, with edge and face clearances, and edge and surface conditions complying with the recommendations of manufacturer.
