Tech/Engineering - Construction / Civil Engineering / buildings | | English term or phrase: face mounted with a clear poly film | I am translation installation and maintenance instructions for a glass tile product.
This is talking about glass mosaic (little tiles) that "are face mounted with a clear poly film" -- I can't find the translation of "face mounted."

La cerámica vidriada se puede montar adherida a una película de polietileno o papel.
El método indirecto, la cerámica vidriada se arma por el frente con la película o sea "forward face".
El método direct se arma por atrás o sea "back facer".
En el caso de "forward face" con película de polietileno, una vez armado, el plástico se desprende tirando del mismo. En el caso de armado con película de papel, una vez fraguado el papel se quita con agua y esponja.
