I don't know how to translate "riced potatoes" and "tinned cherries". What dishes are this in Spanish?

¿Cerezas en lata? Serán ¿cerezas en almibar? ¿cerezas en conserva?

Las "riced potatoes no tengo idea de lo que son... ¿patatas con arroz?

He estado buscando en google y en muchas web sites de cocina aparece el termino "patatas desmenuzadas".

Todo depende del contexto, pero "tinned cherries" tambien podria ser "cerezas en lata".... En el sentido que se va ha hacer un postre usando cerezas en lata.

  -> Gracias. Las hay en latas y en botes de cristal.. quizás tienes razón con "en conserva" lo que cubre ambas posibilidades.
