Sólo para hacer la referencia a mi contexto, acá les decimos fogoneros a los trapos que se usan para sostener las ollas calientes cuando se retiran de la estufa, que no son trapos propiamente hablando, sino un "emparedado" de telas de algodón con un relleno aislante, generalmente del mismo material.
