No tengo la menor idea si esta expresión se utiliza en España. Sé que se utiliza en Cuba y en México, y creo que proviene de antiguos anuncios comerciales del detergente Fab, pero se extendió al lenguage popular para referirse a cualquier tarea o procdedimiento rápido.
A falta de un equivalente ibérico, podrías usar "rápido".
