English to Spanish translations [PRO]
Bus/Financial - Economics / business | | English term or phrase: aged receivable balances | I do not understand the concept of "aged receivable balances". The text (an auditing statement) says:
"The company has exposure to credit rist related to reinsurance balances receivable and reinsurance recoverable on paid and unpaid losses. the creidt rist exposure related to these balances is mitigated by several factors, including but not limited to credit checks performed as part of the underwriting process, monitoring of aged receivable balances and the contractual right to offset premiums receivable or funds held balances against unpaid losses and loss expenses."
Are aged receivable balances "cuentas vencidas" of some type? Any help with concept and translation of it would be appreciated. So far I have 'Saldos de cuentas por cobrar vencidas".
