Sí, reconozco que es un traducción bastante "despegada" del original, pero creo que si sigues la estructura sintáctica del inglés la versión en español se complica con tanta subordinación.

Supongo que el manual para padres deberá tener un registro bajo de español, por eso sugiero esta versión "dada vuelta", y más clara.

Es una sugerencia, habría que modificar según el contexto.
