English to Spanish translations [PRO] Social Sciences - Education / Pedagogy / Secondary school | | English term or phrase: Age of Transition | It appears in a high school exam:
"As the Middle Ages began to fade, an age of change referred to as the *Age of Transition* (1300-1600) brought Western Europe into the Modern World."
I assume this can be safely translated as "Época de transición," but I can't find this age in any history reference in Spanish. Any ideas??
Thanks much! |

| | época de transición | Explanation: que yo sepa, no está instalada en la bibliografía como una época que requiera denominación particular; de hecho, se superpone con épocas clásicas (edad media, renacimiento, edad moderna), donde el renacimiento sería una transición si no fuera porque tiene entidad propia |

2 mins confidence: peer agreement (net): +12 | age of transition época de transición (o 'de la transición')
Explanation: Tanto si te refieres a la época del Rey Sancho (etc.) como a la España después de Franco, así conocemos ambos períodos.
¡Suerte!
