English to Spanish translations [PRO]
Social Sciences - Education / Pedagogy | | English term or phrase: LLL-Spanish | I'm translating the record of a student from a University.
There is a list of subjects and the grades. One of them says: "LLL-Spanish" I don't know what "LLL" means. I found 'Lifelong Learning'. Could this be the meaning? 'Lifelong Learning Spanish'??? Could you please help me with this and if possible could you provide possible translations?

This is the name of the university department. It seems to be used at a number of universities.
It almost surely does not mean "lifelong learning" a term used for non-degree courses designed for older persons.

If the record is for a student of typical university age, then the meaning is almost definitely not "lifelong learning". If it is for a person who took the courses in question at a somewhat later age, then "lifelong learning" would be a possible meaning.
The best method of verification would be to enter the "[name of the university you have the transcript for]"{between quotation marks} and "LLL" and "language, linguistics and literature" on Yahoo or google and see if you get a match for the university in question.
