Adriana de Groote: En estos países al menos, cuando terminas la secundaria te gradúas como "Bachiller en Ciencias y Letras", equivalente a un "High School Diploma". Aunque en inglés es Bachelor of Arts, equivale a una Licenciatura, pues es un grado a nivel universitario.

Rafael Serrano: «Bachiller» es bachillerato o high school, no se refiere a estudios universitarios. «Bachelor» es un «false cognate», falso amigo, no significa lo mismo en inglés que en español. Cordial saludo.

-> En Perú, al menos, cuando uno termina la universidad, obtiene el grado de Bachiller (el cual puede ser en Ciencias o Letras). Al terminar el colegio (como le llamamos a la educación primaria y secundaria), no se obtiene ningún diploma en especial.
