En la página de la American Military University encontré esto: The Associate of Arts in General Studies is often sought by AMU students to receive a "half-way" credential enroute to the ultimate goal of the Bachelor of Arts. This "half-way" credential provides the military, law enforcement, government, or corporate professional with a bonafide degree that he or she can use in a personnel file to bolster academic credentials while continuing to study for the bachelor’s degree. Some students seek the Associate of Arts degree as the only degree in which they are interested, because their job requires only the two-year degree; such a goal is just fine with AMU. In addition to its AA in General Studies with no specific concentration (which is favored by AMU students who want maximum flexibility in transferring credit and/or a wide degree of opportunity to pursue interesting electives), AMU now also offers four concentrations within the AA General Studies Degree: Law Enforcement, Health Services Administration, Personnel Administration and Business Administration. http://www.amunet.edu/degrees/AA.asp -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 2001-12-17 09:05:41 (GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Generales, I mean! |
