This course is designed for the serious student of choral music. Students in this course are advanced students of music who can sing using vocal fundamentals and produce a musical tone, matching pitch, and singing on part. Students will produce musical tone with focus and resonance. Students will progress in the development of personal vocal abilities and continue sight reading and rehearsing music literature in unison, two parts and three-part harmony. Students will perform in both concerts and musical contests. Students must audition and meet specific selection criteria to enroll in this course. |
