No veo claro que se refiera sólo a las artes. "Arts" se traduce en muchas ocasiones por "Letras" en contextos académicos como este. Y hablando de Historia Natural... no parece que tenga mucha reloación con las artes plásticas, por ejemplo, sino con los estudio de letras por oposición a los de ciencias.
