English to Spanish translations [PRO] Social Sciences - Education / Pedagogy | | English term or phrase: mastery goal | Hi everybody, I have a problem with the phrase above, it is within the next context.
Various studies on the values, goals and beliefs about the importance and interest of a task have shown that goals influence school achievement through the quality, timing and appropriatness of various cognotive strategies. More specifically, the relatioship between goals and achievement throguh cognitive strategy use might be either seen from a mastery goal perspective or a multiple goal perspective.
I included the full context because I think it is important in order you can understand the phrase, it is hard to me because in the text I'm translating, it appears several times, specially the word mastery and I have not idea how to translate it.
Thanks in advance, David. |
