En una planilla de evaluación de un nene con trastornos del aprendizaje:
In the classroom, XXXX is able to decode unfamiliar words and read from the ***OCR decodables, intervention book, and anthology***.
Sé que es más de un término, pero me parece que OCR modifica a los tres.
Any idea? Thank you!

Open Court Reading
Explanation:
Yes, Open Court Reading modifies all three. It is a program that provides decodable books, an intervention book, and an anthology at each grade level.

OCR would be hard to translate, since Open Court (Patio Abierto) really has nothing to do with the program itself, at least as presently constituted. It used to be related to storytelling skills, in which case maybe the "open court" would be the (metaphorical) place where the storytelling would happen. Nowadays we don't translate it, but simply call it "un programa de lectoescritura".

Incidentally, this highly structured and overly controlling program is much hated by teachers, who have given their own interpretation to the initials OCR: Obsessive Compulsive Reading.
