Según mi investigación la traducción de gopher aparece como ardilla terrestre, sin embargo, creo que la traducción correcta sería "marmota". ¿Alguien podría corroborar que las marmotas son los gophers? Necesitaría que me envíen una página de Internet en la que aparezca una foto de este animal.

Explanation:
El problema es que "pocket gopher" es tuza y gopher a solas es ardilla terrestre. Puedes ver esta foto de un pocket gopher, en el que se ve claramente que no es una ardilla.
