Se trata de un certificado de estudios y es una de las materias que aparecen en el listado. Sé que Language Arts es Artes Lingüísticas, pero no he podido hallar la aclaración de las siglas M / J, que también aparecen antepuestas a otras materias: M / J Comp. Sci. - M / J US History.

Explanation:
Quizás en Argentina le llamen diferente a este nivel, pero la M equivale a Middle y la J a Junior High. Un ejemplo en el enlace.
En cuanto a Language Arts coincido con tu traducción.
