No son sinonimos. En "Sucking", el movimiento de la lengue es hacia arriba y hacia abajo y esta se mantiene dentro de la boca. Es el patron que usan los adultos. En "suckling" la lengua se extiende y se retrae. Es un patron primitivo. Son dos cosas diferentes pero no estoy segura si en español hay distincion de palabras entre ambas. Será chupado y succión o es lo mismo?
