English term or phrase: make up day
I'm wondering if anyone can share what the equivalent might be for this term, as it is common among K-12 schools here in the U.S. In this particular case, the source text lists upcoming dates on the school calendar, and my inquiry is based on this entry:

"Snow Make up Day or No School"

Upon searching online for parallel texts, I've only come up with the following options (none of which have me convinced due to the extremely low amount of hits on Google):
- "día de recuperación por mal tiempo"
- "día para reponer el día perdido"
- "día para compensar mal tiempo"

Any suggestions?

agree  M. Isabel Ledesma: Coincido con Marina. La elección debe estar dentro de la familia de palabras recuperar/recuparación, etc ya que son los términos seleccionados en el ámbito escolar (antes que compensar o reponer).
