Oficina de Admisión/Inscripción? Does it work the same if we use Department instead of Office?

Asker: Marina, tenia la duda ya que Admisiones no se encuentra incluido en la Real Academia de la Lengua. Admisión si está, pero indica que admisiones no esta incluída.. por lo que me dices el termino esta aceptado coloquialmente?
