English to Spanish translations [PRO] Education / Pedagogy / Education | | English term or phrase: migrant recruiter | The term Migrant Recruiter refers to a position in many school district throughout the United States. This person has to identify the "migrant" families within the school districts.
The person who does it locally has to go to a local beef-packing plant to verify weather new employees WITH CHILDREN are migrant workers (according to state's definitions) and then signs them up for educational services.
The local school district, in turn, receives more funds for each migrant student that is identified.
The local migrant recruiter calls herself, la reclusora migrante, which I know is totally wrong (and sounds more appropriate for the name of a spider).
