I understand the meaning of "cashing in" in this context, but just can't come up with the right choice of words (¿"cobro"?)
The fragment in question says,
When your child is ill or you will be on vacation, please let us know as soon as possible. If your child is scheduled full-time you will be granted two vacation weeks per year. This may be used when your child is ill or for actual vacation time. After your 10 days are used for the year all other absences are expected to be paid in full. If your child is scheduled part-time you may also receive two weeks credit for your normal amount of hours scheduled during a week. For example: If your child attends [the center] three mornings a week for a total of 10 hours, your two weeks equal six of their normal days or 20 hours. me da la sensacion de que se refiere a un canje. si el niño deja de ir al centro por enfermedad o vacaciones, los primeros 10 dias no se pagan, pero a partir del 11o. los padres deberan pagar, aun cuando el niño no vaya. por ejemplo, si el niño falta 13 dias, habra 3 dias que deberan abonar los padres... estos 3 dias pagados pero no utilizados, no pueden ser canjeados por 3 dias sin costo en el futuro. CREO que a esto se refiere... |
