Explanation:
Me parece q entusiasmo puede funcionar, de todos modos me parece q haría falta un poco mas de contexto.
'edge' tambien tiene el significado de 'zest': eager interest and enjoyment. For example, 'zest for life' Source: Longman Dictionary.
I've also seen:
'This brisk walk gave an edge to my appetite'.
En este caso podria ser algo asi como 'dar rienda suelta a algo'
Creo q habria q ver mas contexto para decidir cual es la traducciñon mas apropiada.
De todos modos, me parece que 'entusiasmo' es la mejor opción.
