Is it possible to put both aplicar and tomarle in the Kudoz Glossary? They are both correct terms just used in different areas of the spanish speaking world.

An IEP (Individualized Education Program) is a special academic program developed by a team of teachers: the regular classroom teacher and specialists including speech therapist, occupational therapist, psychologist, special ed, ELL (similar to ESL), etc. They write up a report with recommendations and test results (administered by the teachers and other specialists). This is the document that I am translating. Hope that helps.

What is an IEP (don't we have to deal with enough acronyms already)? Your residence is irrelevant, but the demographics of the population served by the school district is quite relevant, which can vary by area.

I am translating this IEP for a school district so they can give a copy of it to the family. I don't know which country they are from, I have never met them. But, we live in the Midwest. The teacher, school psychologist, etc. would administer the exam to the child.
