From a report that discusses ways to help a student with learning disabilities: ''... small group instruction, use of *visual aids* and models, learning games ...'' Actually, I have seen 'soporte visual' and 'ayudas visuales' but I'm not convinced by these. Are there any other phrases or terms? ¡Gracias a todos de antemano!

Otra opción es "medios visuales de instrucción". No me convence pero así aparece en el glosario de un distrito escolar para el cual traduzco.

Material de apoyo visual


Explanation:
Generalmente los "aids" se utilizan para apoyar la gestión del presentador o educador, por lo tanto podríamos decir que todo "aid" es material de apoyo, tal como en este caso.

También he utilizado "medios visuales de instrucción" para traducir "visual aids", cuando se trata de estudiantes con discapacidades. Espero que te ayude.
