English term or phrase: related
Hola.

Estoy haciendo una traducción de un manual del estudiante de inglés a español mexicano dirigida a personas con 3 años de escolaridad nada más.

La oración dice:

The 4 R's are the following:

Related, Reasonable, Respectful, Responsible

Gracias

relevante/pertinente
Explanation:
Romado's answer is also good. Although in English I think relevant is a better word here than related. The punishment should be immediatly relevant to the infraction.

Good news with this one is even in Spanish, there are still four R's!

neutral  Erin DeBell: I would have agreed given the lack of context, but in light of the new information, it is apparently talking about characteristics of the consequences (they must be related/relevant to the infraction).

relacionado (a)

Explanation:
We need more context, many times these 4 R's are used in the context of discipline, punishment, consequences etc. For example:
http://life.familyeducation.com/parenting/punishment/45299.h...

If this is the case, here it could be relacionado... but it all depends on the context
