En teatro, los *apartes* son los comentarios que hace el actor para sí y hacia el público, no para los personajes mismos. Por eso se le llama *aparte*, porque no va dirigido a los otros personajes.
Comentario para María: en el texto de Paola, *character* modifica a *foils* y no a *asides* y *foils* a la vez. Se trata de dos términos completamente diferentes.
