The 8th grade students go to seminar class every day. This is a class where they are allowed to work on asignments. It is also known as study hall in some other schools. Study skills is a class where they teach you how to be a better student by strategies that are learned and practiced during the semester. Students return to advisory/home room class at the end of the day. The advisory class is used to take attendance, pass out routine paperwork and have a faculty representative who serves as an advisor to the students when problems arise during the school day. It allows the students to have a teacher that they feel comfortable coming to with their concerns. |
