Alguien que esté bien lúcido, por favor tradúzcame la frase que está en mayúsculas:

No creo que haya nada peyorativo en describir una realidad de todos los días en millones de hogares.

Explanation:
The answer given is good, but remember that when something has a familiar "ring" to it, that means it SOUNDS familiar. So it is probably not just referring to the cramped space, but also the reassuringly familiar sound-cocoon of many voices bouncing off the walls. This need not affect the translation as such, it is just background information. We can't always translate all nuances.
