"Professor Bing" es una distinción aplicable en Estados Unidos de Norte América que reconoce el nivel máximo de excelencia académca dentro de un determinado claustro universitario. No obstante reconozco que la expresión "Profesor Bing" resulta bastante extraña y poco significativa afuera de Estados Unidos. Dependiendo del tipo trabajo de traducción, considero que el traductor poede tomarse la licancia de explicar de algún modo el significado.
De acuerdo al país audiencia, veo como posibilidades:
Catedrático "Bing" donde catedrático implica la autoridad máxima de una determinada cátedra universitaria.
Máximo Catedrático (Premio Bing)
Académico de Honor (Distinción Bing)
o alguna otra cambinación / explicación aplicable.
