En las escuelas secundarias de EE.UU. (por lo menos en Utah donde yo vivo), el año escolar se divide en dos "semesters" y cada semestre, a su vez, se divide en dos "terms". De modo que, un "term" no es ni un "semestre" ni un "trimestre". Pero, ¿qué nombre le podemos dar para que entiendan nuestras familias que vienen de todas partes de América Latina?

This is much newer territory here in "white-bread" Orem, Utah than it is in California. Amazingly, a place like Provo, Utah (our next-door neighbor) now has a nearly 50% Hispanic student body in four of its elementary schools.
